Both. Upload any CV or resume PDF, or a LinkedIn "Save to PDF" export — the audit reads either one and scores it the same way. It detects which you uploaded and adjusts its wording accordingly, but the scoring rubric underneath is identical.
Is this an ATS simulator, or LinkedIn's real ranking algorithm?
Neither, exactly. Yoxon has no access to LinkedIn's internal ranking/search/SSI systems, and this isn't a live simulation of any specific company's ATS software. The "ATS Compatibility Score" is Yoxon's own rubric based on general resume-writing and ATS-parsing best practice — headline/summary clarity, section structure, quantified accomplishments, and keyword alignment with your target role.
Do I need to select a target role?
No, but the Keyword Analysis and Skills Gap sections (20 of 100 score points) are scored against a role's real ATS/recruiter search terms, so picking one — or typing your own — gives you a materially more complete audit.
